Economic Impact of fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia causes severe, debilitating pain. |
Fibromyalgia is a disease with widespread pain and other symptoms. The word refers to pain in the muscles and fibrous tissue. Estimates are that 3-5% of women and .5% of men have fibromyalgia. Recent research shows that fibromyalgia patients have excessive substance P, a chemical that gives the “pain” signal in the brain.
Men, women and even children can get fibromyalgia. It is most common in women. It often develops after a surgery, injury or infection. I assess the power of a will by how much resistence, pain, torture it endures and knows how to turn to its advantage. - Freidrich Nietzsche One Voice, One Community, One CauseTM |
